Default New, need help appraising a car

Recently, my good friend passed away and left his car to his family. His wife and kids have no use of the car and asked me to help sell it. I am not familiar with Lexus overall and would like to solicit info on how much this car worth so I can put it in the market with realistic price.

Here are the pictures. I can get the list of mods in more details once I see the car and go over it in person. In the mean time, I can only provide what the wife sent me. Keep in ind she is not a car person.

1998 model. 105K miles.
Over $13K invested on upgrades. 20" Maya Wheels, VeilSide Bodykit, Premium sound with 3 TV screens and Sony PlayStation 2. Timing belt & Water Pump have been replaced by Lexus Dealer.

98 with 105k with the mods you have I'd say around $8k stock for a car like that (dealer price is $8k, private party about a grand or two less) with the mods, body kit and sound Id say another $2k tops. If you part it out you would probably make more money (those ppe amps would sell for about $800 each) those kickers won't go for much.

So I'd say $9-10k would be a good range.

Mileage is 105k. He was an auto enthusiast, so I'm sure the car was maintained well. He also had water pump and timing belt replaced at the dealer. It is 1998 GS300.

I'll amend the info on the original post.

Thanks for all the kind words. I'm just trying to help the family and sell the car fast. They need the money more than the car. The car currently located in Fresno. I live in SF Bay area and can bring the car to SF Bay area if needed.

He was a good friend and hiss passing was too sudden, it surprised us all.

parting out and selling the car stock would defintely find the family more funds to help them in a time of need, but seeing as you all dont have any car knowledge i would say dont part out.

you should defintely post this (or mods move it to the lexus classifeds) as it doesnt belong here and will get way more hits in the classifed section

btw. posting an specific area where you are located from will help with the sale

my condolences

I say around 9-10k complete. Parting out might get you more money.

i think for vehicles you dont have to have a certain post count to post and i know he doesnt need a vouch to sell a car. regardless right now its not for sake, he just is trying to figure a price for them...
