Default Fuel filter help, yeas I have searched!

So every one says that the o-rings need to be replaced when changing the filter. I missed that info the 1st time around and now the car is hard starting. So I found Och thread where he said one of the o-rings is 3.5mm x 10mm. Anyone know what size the other 2 are or if they have lexus part numbers? I don't think they do which is why I am asking about the size.

Are you referring to one of these parts?

thanks for the response. the 3.5mm i already have goes between the suction cap and fuel pump. That one in the diagram goes on the regulator and has a part number. I'm going to check a couple local dealers tomorrow, hopefully someone has it. Would you happen to know the size? I just need to figure out if the 3rd one has a part number.

before people come in here and freak out, please keep in mind this is ONLY for the 1998-2000 models....i think on the 2001+ unit ours was self contained. i NEVER saw a O-ring on my 2001 nor have i heard any member with a 2001+ model complain about this

No, the 2001 is basically the same thing with a few minor changes. I got the 2001, and I had a problem with the o-ring

By the way Och, if you ever need the 3.5 mm one again, I got them from Mc-master-Carr. $7 shipped for a pack of 10.

thanks for the real part number for the regulator o-ring. no wonder i couldn't really find it online, the sewell site says the 23280E in the diagram is a PNC #. The real # is what Och said (9030107020). But just that one more question and I'm good. The 2 besides the 3.5 mm are the same right Och?

Wow, good to know, I deal with mcmaster all the time for my business, didn't think to check if they have the proper size rings. Did you get the one made for gas?

I got some more of those rings too, the company sent me 5 of them for free, I think I have 3 more remaining.

Yep, the others are the same - they are a bit smaller than the 3.5mm ring.

yes viton, also they shipped them out to me in 1 day. I would have picked them up from one of their local warehouse in socal but i was told the nearest stock was on the east coast. the lady was mistaken though because the rings shipped from socal. Anyway, I'll try to measure the smaller size rings too, so iif lexus runs out of stock, people can just order from mcmaster.
