How many of you would buy a 3GS over a 2gs if you were buying a car today?

Since the 3GS has been out now for 6 years I'm sure that most of us have decided on the 2GS because we wanted it over the 3GS. However for those that can't afford a 3GS at the current asking price the 2GS isn't much of a compromise. Most of the people that really like the 3GS jumped ship a long time ago.

I like the 2GS more, I like the styling more and it's simplicity. If you can afford the 3GS and would prefer newer technology, etc, I say go for it.

3gs but i cant afford one so i settled for a 2 gs.

I love the second gen gs. I like the 3GS. But the body style of the 2gs is timeless IMO .

I drove both just today and while I love the 2GS there is no getting past the newer tech of the 3GS. Cooled butt ftw

Still prefer the looks of the 2GS.

i have both a 2gs and a 3gs...love them both. i dont think i would be able to choose between them

i would take a 2gs in a 400/430 in the color you want..rather than settling for a color in an 06 gs300..but if your talking about the 08+350's then id rather do that.

If there was a "WTT: My 3GS for your 2GS" thread, I wouldn't give it a second thought. The 2GS might lack some of the newer technology, but the 3GS doesn't turn me on at all. Remove the badges/logos from both... and I can't tell a gs350 from a maxima to save my life.

IF/WHEN the 2gs leaves me a ls430/ls460 will replace it

I'm sure the 3 is nicer, more up to date and has less problems....ball joints, shaky wheel etc etc etc that the 2g has, but the 2g looks way better.
