guess i will rub it in.....new kroger gas policy change. 100 points in a month get you $.10 off,200 points gets you $0.20 off,1000 points in a month gets a $1.00 off up to 35 gallons. they also gave ALL employees a free 1000 points so the gf and i filled up both our vehicles with premium (same 93 octane i always run, just wont work at the shell, actually had to be at the kroger pump) for $97.30 (only $2.78 a gallon ).....NO BTW i didnt fill up for $3.00 (that was before we pumped) who does that kind of crap?
OH, the things we do for our cars

I have used Shell since I started driving and won't stop.
In my work truck I've had to make stops at a Chevron a few times because there are no other gas stations in the area. I've seen a full tank get 20-30 miles less than when using shell. Maybe it was one time thing but I usually reset my tripometer on refills and always see roughly the same mpg with shell.

As for progress, I'm at about 130 miles now, and it's almost half the needles width below the 3/4 line. Ie 3/4 line, 1/2 needles width space, and needle.
This seems to be worse than I was getting with Gate station though. When I get to 1/4, i'll fill up at Shell once more, and run a full tank of Shell gas and see my results.

So your calculations are computer calculated or physical measurement? IE taking the total trip, and dividing by amount of gallons you filled up? That's how I measure it. I've heard computer measurements can be out of whack. Still a few mpg better, I could understand, but to get 30+ highway.....bonkers.

Road Trip, I ended up trying a few before I found one that I really liked.

Again, I offer you the raw data to play with if you want. It really is a simple calculation and I am not surprised at all. When I can I will be a granny as I don't need to speed demon my way around town. I don't deal with bumper to bumper traffic like most major cities either. If you noticed on the graph in the picture as well. The white line is the MPG and it does dip to some low points and I have one high point that is 33MPG or something.
