Good morning/afternoon,

Just picked up a 98GS4. Absolutely love it!!! I am still trying to get used to the steering, not quite as tight as on my 92SC4. Alot of power for the steering to be that soft in my opinion. Well moving right along. I have Navigation without the Nakamichi. Any suggestion on mid priced speakers and dvd/navigation systems I can look into. I tried Crutchfield and unless I did my search incorrectly there wasnt anything available to fit the car.

Thanks.

You can fit up to 6 1/2 in the front and rear using baffles, otherwise, you can throw 4 inch replacements in there all day long.

I've got 6.5 mb quartz - components in the front and rear. Get some mdf; trace your stock speaker boxes and mount them in. Splice some wires, soder and connect to the factory speaker wires. Not hard. For the radio, you can buy any radio you want -- just get a scosche toyo/lex harness and then you'll have to splice into the original radio's harness. Eclipse h/u matches the green backlight of everything perfectly. Thats what I run. Also get the double din kit from a scosche. it'l; match the factory trim better.

Crutchfield will only give you ice that will work and will be easy to install i.e. 4" instead of 6.5".
