From 9J to 11J??
I was wondering if i could make my Wald D23 9J in to a 11J rim??
What kind of outerlip can i put on to make this possible??
Is there a Wald lip that i can put on??

I remember seeing some VW guys hacking up their wheels and re-welding the barrels......but I don't know if I would ever butcher a set like that. Plus, that can't be structurally sound.
Have you tried talking to a Wald dealer or a wheel refinishing shop?

Contact MC3 Wheels. They can make a custom barrel for you. But you may have to take the wheel apart and ship them your barrel and tell them how much wider you want it.

I'm not sure why people think all wheels with 40 holes are the same - they aren't, especially when comparing the US made parts to Japanese made parts.
I rebuilt some AMEs for my friend Nick's 240 a couple years ago - I used 40 hole US made parts but had to redrill them. The center opening size is different, too.
It's possible, but not a slam dunk. Also, use new assembly hardware.
