Why poke is no bueno.....think it'll buff out?
So my car was parked in front of work the other day and just my luck......this happens. A young kid was speeding up/down the road earlier in his turbo'd Integra. I guess a motorcycle came out of a drive way and he swerves to miss the bike, counters, and then clips my GS. I was inside and just heard a loud boom! It sounded like a transformer blew up, but not like the usual sound of 2 cars hitting each other. As I walked outside of our office to go see what happened, I saw the workers of the bodyshop across the street looking at my car. Haha, just great right? To make matters worse, my GS got pushed into my wife's 2010 Forester too. Fantastic. And of course, the icing on the cake, the guy did not have his license, was uninsured, and had warrants. Needless to say, he got arrested.
In any case, his right front wheel kissed my left rear wheel and took it the F out. Surprisingly enough, there was only a small, really minor scratch on the rear bumper, and some very minor damage on the left quarter panel. My front bumper has some scratches and so does my wife's Forester rear bumper. But, my GS has some significant rear suspension damage. At least I have a reason to order some Figs stuff now . I'm thinking about some toe links and maybe some mega arms if the budget allows. Anybody know anybody selling one 19x10, +12 (Lo disk) AME CX? If so, please send them my way. Haha, I was just thinking to myself, damn if I had my other wheel set up on the car at the time, I might have been in the clear. My last set up was about 15mm less aggressive in the rear. Maybe he might've missed the wheel all together. Oh wells...

Lol, I know right?! The lip just got peeled back like a banana peel. In fact, it's hard to see in the pics, but the lip is actually wrapped around the face of the wheel too.

Ask your agent about a 'no fault' deductible claim, some companies have this as an option when the damage they are covering was not your fault.
An oncoming truck ran my wife into a ditch last year on a county back road and did not stop, our deductible is $500 but they approved it as a 'no fault' claim and lowered what I had to pay to only $200.. It never hurts to ask.. (I use nationwide)
