If its a gs300/400/430 it located on the bottom of the radiator next to the radiator drain plug. That is the engine coolant temp switch.

For the temp switches see here the gauge temp switch is located on the top side bank of the radiator, and the engine ecu coolant temp switch is on the bottom as I noted.

ECT Sensor in the 2nd Gen GS 300 is on the block just under the intake manifold towards the front of the drivers side. Don't know where it is on the 400
You can find most diagrams here

use IE to open, doesn't seem to open in other browsers

What is the part number for the GS300 Coolant temp sensor for the gauge cluster??? Do you believe its the 83420-30020 like the pic shows? Because that is what the schematics say...however its just a plug and its not in the radiator, its in the the intake manifold.

I still dont have the correct answer to what sensor makes the gauge cluster coolant temperature read.

see this....

The part number is GAGE ASSY, WATER TEMPERATURE SENDER 83420-30020

Oh and my apologies for the crappy jump to locating it, They are right it is under the intake manifold towards the front of the engine

on the 1uz 3uz (V8) engines it is right under the throttle body point towards the passenger side , use a spark plug socket.

You'll need to ask the 3rd gen forum.

I will delete this once you've read it and posted in the correct forum, or after 2 days.
