Nice and clean

How do you like the sound?

they look very nice, but do you have any pics of them from the side? I would just like to know how far they stick out from the bumper.

I will at some point try to capture and post some sounds. Until then, my subjective impressions...

First, starting the car - AWESOME. You hear the starter, then you hear a nice low 'WOOF' from behind you before it dies down to idle where you don't really hear the exhaust at all.

Next, pulling out - the lowish rumble I wanted, GREAT.

Part throttle, if the car is held at around 1900 rpm, it's slightly louder than I'd like if the stereo's not on, but I'm getting used to it.

Any other rpm, especially WOT - it KICKS *** - GREAT SOUND!!!! Love it.

I'm REALLY psyched about the look too... because they fill the cutouts nicely, and the mufflers are oval so no additional chance of scraping, and they seem to be very high quality pieces (chrome work, rounded taper on very end of tip, etc.)

Anyway, I'm thrilled.

Thanks again STEVE FROM CARSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's too dark in my garage to get a good shot right now, but I'll try to get ya one tomorrow. My guess is it sticks out 1/2 - 1" max more than stock... not dramatic.

Looks great. Glad you like the sound. Post a wav file when you can. Would be great to get some dyno numbers. My guess considering the fairly good flowing stock system would be 10-15rwhp.

Here's a side shot of the L-Tuned exhaust I took at a local dealership.

B, they look great~!!!! Can you compare, if possible, to stock system sound on the old SC400? This was tuned by Lexus for more sporty sound and your description sounds similar to what I was used to hearing from my SC4 long ago.

Since the service mgr at my dealership still professes not to have heard of L-Tuned other than from me, I suspect I may be the only person locally to have any interest and therefore depend on the invaluable help of individuals in CL for tuning advice. Therefore, thanks in advance!!!!!

I was in an SC400 once, and my recollection is that it was quieter than my new exhaust. The SC400 is a sporty but subdued sound, and the L-Tuned still says 'notice me'.

Thanks QBranchcars...I think that is the best looking exhaust for the GS! They barely stick out from the rear bumper, which I really like with the stock bumper...I am looking forward to saving up some more money...

Thanks Sasha. I wimped out and let the dealer do it. My car was real dirty so the very nice car cleaning came in handy anyway

Thanks! I thought the Borla had more a straight tip whereas the L-Tuned one has tips that taper in right at the end.

What I *really* like is the chrome finish and the fact that the muffler itself is mirror shiny too!
