you should focus on something leaning towards the stiffer side if you are going to lower the car while on 20's because it would rub. I recommend selling the springs and getting a decent coilover set. I just picked up some 20" wheels too so I went ahead and got a set of the Megan Racing LP series coilovers. The EZ streets are almost just as good and for fairly cheaper, in the 600's I think. My recommendation at least.
You should think about rolling your fenders too. that will allow you to lower your car more with less rub.

I definitely want to see how your car looks like in the end.

I picked them up from a buddy of mine. He sold me the wheels without tires for $800. The wheels are 20x8.5 and 20x10, I havent put them on the car yet still waiting for lowering springs and a paint job.
