Default Toyota FollowMe Nav system

Gday.

My Australian spec. GS300 does not have factory Nav. I have all the double DIN fittings from Japan, and now need to decide what unit to buy.

For something different, has anyone had any experience with the Toyota FollowMe product?

Gimic or good? Appreciate your comments please.

I have never heard of it, but I would go with something from Pionner or Kenwood.. That screen is too small!

You are right. The screen does look a bit small.

Looks to be the same as the Eclipse AVN4400 (Fujitsu 10).

See http://www.eclipse-web.com.au/Default.aspx

However the AVN726EA looks to be a better bet. Much larger screen and made for Australia.

Back to the homework.

I like that you can take the unit off on the Toyota for some out of the car navigation.
But you are right the AVN726EA looks really nice!
