Default Anyone have experience with Continental ExtremeContact DW tires?

I am looking into:

The Continentals and Hankooks are the cheapest but still deliver good wet/dry grip. I know the PS2's may be a better tire but maybe NOT GOOD ENOUGH against the others to balance out their cost and fast tire wear.

-Continental ExtremeContact DW
-Michelin Pilot Sport PS2
-Hankook Ventus V12
-Pirelli P Zero

Any input would be a great help!

Not really with that particular one but yes with the Continental Extreme DWS its an incredible tire. i love them, i have them on my Gs3 and the car feels less Fishtaily . it feels very stable at high speed including driving thru snow, not a real winter tire but very good for it. not noisy at all. im taking them off and putting on some used Winter set ups till i get rid of the car. The DWS is considered a Performance All Season..i think the DW is a Summer.

Hankooks are a very nice tire. The Hankook Ventus v12 Evo is Awsome. Had them on my Supra. i also had the Kumhos Ecsta on my Corolla, loved it.

But one of the best Summer tire IMHO being the Michelin Pilots

Stay away from LING LONG and NANKANG...Lol

Thanks man for your input! I am teatering between the Michelin PS2 or the cheaper, longer lasting Continentals...I am never going to track the car; I just drive very spiritedly.

Well, you cant go wrong with either if that helps. Continentals have good reviews as being a top contender. the PS2 would be the way to go but only if budget allows. i would go with the the Conti's.

Id go with the Michelin P2, they lasted for so long, cant go wrong with them, its a much softer tire compared with the Continental DWS, I had a friend who had them on his GS

i have the dws as we speak and they do have are very soft. ive had them for about 2 years now with around 25k miles on them and the tread on them is still pretty decent for a tire w that amount. with the snow storm that just hit us i can get around fairly easily yesterday afternoon with around 2.5 inches.

How is the grip on the dry? Do you have any power mods?

nope i have a gs3 so there goes all power mods period lol.

i drive spirited from time to time but usually at normal speeds since i live in a pretty beat up area with potholes and stuff. if you are looking for something great for normal day to day i cannot complain about these tires. i even switched out my wifes 06 civic with these tires as well.

DWS and I love them I got them think I was selling the car and Im impressed. Not sure I would suggest them in bad weather or if there is a lot of snow. If your getting for summer only then get the DW!

PS2 FTW! Best tire I have owned to this day. For the money you can't beat these DWS tires and what they have to offer. If you have the money PS2 all the way
