Insurance Tails should solve the problem.

Seeing he doesn't want to shell out 150, I doubt he'll want 400+ tails.. No offense either

98-00 is common to fade like someone else already mentioned. Just get a set of 01+ Leds or OEM off the boards....

I'm alive and well... yeaaaaa tape wasnt a good idea. i will look into other options. Got it off with 3m remover and some rubbing alcohol

I was thinking you would be getting 'filing for insurance' tails if you didn't get that tape off!

you know whats a quick fix to the fading light aka pink eye(southpark) use Dupli-Color® Metalcast red ive use it on my taillight to match the yellow and the inner to the rest of the housing and after about three layer it came out a deeper red .. now its a cheap fix but as i found out i need to spray it over with some clear to give it a uv protection

also i did my fog light with the amber and it came out nice too

sure i think i may have some picture somewhere in my hard drive if not i have to wait til this snow melt my car away...im so tired of it already

Just get the red film they sell on ebay you should be set . . . make sure u use a heat gun to get it to stick really good

I replaced the tails on my 99 GS4 and I'm glad I did. Simple and makes the car look like new again.
