Default What happened to Christian Rado's TTGS400?

i stumbled on it searching for some info on his old school integra.....so since i have NEVER seen or heard about this gs400, i figured i would ask.

what happened to chris rado's TTGS400

almost the bottom of the of page

http://www.world-racing.com/vehicles.htm

http://www.world-racing.com/images/vehicles/GS/1.jpg
http://www.world-racing.com/images/vehicles/GS/2.jpg
http://www.world-racing.com/images/vehicles/GS/3.jpg
http://www.world-racing.com/images/vehicles/GS/4.jpg
http://www.world-racing.com/images/vehicles/GS/5.jpg

and then AT the bottom of the page

http://www.world-motorsports.com/gallery.php

i goggled and saw a few stories bout it but never seen it or hear much about it..it looks like it has a SRT turbo kit on it from MO and he has what looks to be the same setup as TTURBOPIMP especially from another google search where i found this..

http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=559196

even found this one thomas made (cause it had chris rado's name in it when i was searching)

http://www.lextreme.com/forums/archi...p/t-11005.html

i was talking to 1SICKLEX and he showed me these,

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...s-ttgs400.html
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...-for-sale.html

but no clue what became of it after that.

If really sold and what happened to the car after it sold, who owns it now....etc?

any info guys?

i remember the car but the guy never posted and no real info was ever put out about it. if im not mistaken....that was the first GS to use the newer location of mounting the turbos. im almost positive that folks like Mariusz had their turbo's mounting lower....

It was in an unfortunate accident, he told me to buy the turbo setup but I showed him I have a GS300.
The engine's fully built and ready to be dropped into any car....

i startled googling gs400 twin turbo crash, chris rado crash lexus, still got NOTHING on this vehicle, its like it disappeared. (although i did find pauls car (AG4) when googling a TTgs400 on another site with some known CL members on there.

http://www.lextreme.com/forums/showthread.php?p=25046)

i was unaware, though, he said the car put out 700hp on that Twin-Turbo. how did he get by the ecu/tranny issues alot of you F.I. guys have had going over 400hp? or was he using a full standalone?.....even so wouldnt he need the oem ecu to work the features in the car?

since you seem to know alot bout this and yes im probably pipe dreaming here, do you know what he's asking for it? its a shame just to have it sitting there though. i think i might try emailing him for ****s and giggles, when i met him at NOPI years ago he was rather nice maybe he'll even answer

isnt that TTurboPimp's car?

and good to see my memory isnt fading. this was the 1st iteration of SRT's TT set-up...

the new one...like rado's and TTurboPimps was nicknamed the Scorpion. the turbos sitting forward like scorpion claws.

dont ask me how i remember this after all these years...

wow that first iteration looks so cluttered....the 2nd one was much, much better

guess it pays to be a OG, lots of useless knowledge that one day becomes useful when someone like me comes looking
