Hi guys! I just bought wheels and really new to all of this. I'm going to the VIP route with camber. I have a few questions I wanted to ask. How much camber can stock arms run? Also, my wheels are 19x9 +35F and 19x10 +28R, what would a tire setup be? Planning to shave the rear, roll the front but upon asking for quotes, people told me the GS fenders are prone to dimples and such. Can anyone recommend a good place in SoCal?

I haven't truly found anyone to do this kind of fitment.
I've done 18x10.5 square fitment with 20+ offset.
You can check my build thread for the alignment specs.
It's cambered but nothing crazy.
I'm running 225/35/18 Pirelli all season tires. Them tires are expensive
but I was lucky enough to get a good deal.
Had my fenders rolled. The rears are okay but the front need more low and more
work if I want to tuck/flush with my wheels/tires.

19x9.5 +15 offset all around. Tossing spacers on the rear. Planning on running a 225/45/19, mild stretch, and the car wont be dumped all the way since the entrances to 99.9% of businesses seem to have some seriously angry angles on them. yay utah. Makes me miss Seattle that much more...anyways, plan to roll the fenders and thats about it. Going to run factory alignment setup too.

Any comments or suggestions?

I'm running just a pinch under -4* on stock arms -3.8 or something...can't say for certain that that's max, seems to be though.
My fenders and 1/4s are shaved damn near flat. Most folks shave, then roll. Good luck and happy trails!

Default Changing Wheels Soon, but....

Need some guidance.

How's it going. I recently purchased an 03 GS300 and will be changing out the 16" wheels soon to five spoke OEM 17" or possibly 18" . I plan to keep the car at stock height and want a wheel that does not require the use of spacers, really want a direct bolt on without any modification needed.

I read through this entire thread multiple times, as well as the OEM wheels only thread. But have to admit that all the information has me a bit confused. I'd appreciate some help checking to see if my understanding of certain OEM wheels is correct.

GS400/GS430 - 17" OEM five spoke - these are a direct bolt on. Nothing else needed.

GS350 - 18" five spoke direct bolt? If yes, I would need the standard tire size that would be on the GS350, right?

RX330 - 18" five spoke, I recall reading that these wheels require spacers and fender roll, So probably not what I want.

RX350 - 18" five spoke, a direct bolt no requiring spacers or anything else, I think.

Lastly for 18" should I go with 18x7 or 18x8?

Thanks

Where did you read the RX330 rims needed a fender roll? The guy from New Hampshire stated he didn't use them in the back.

Heres a thread where a guy put them on with no issues it seems.

Thanks for the info and link to the thread. I did read the thread you provided before posting, but I clearly misread the information or confused it with other info.

Thanks again

So i just put these RX330 rims on with 245/40/18 tires.

Backs fit no problem the front I needed a 3mm spacer to clear the caliper.

It was tight but it fits.

I recently just bought some Varrstoen Es2 19x9.5 +22/19x10.5 +22 to put on my 99 Gs300 that has the Ls400 big brake upgrade. I know ill need to run spacers in the front to clear the caliper. They come with tires already on them 225/35 & 235/45.I just have lowering springs on at the moment(will do coil overs next). My question is will i need to roll/pull my fenders any if at all to run them on my current set up?

i just want a nice looking wheel that replaces my factory plasti dipped wheels thats not redic expensive for the time being. Whats a good offset to run for an 18 inch or 19inch wheel for factory ride height?. I cant find any local wheels for sale. i like the varrostoen es6s alot but i dont really want to spend 1700 on wheels right now.

What's the widest anyone has gone being close to inside as possible. Example can 19x12 +50 fit? I'm not familiar with the 2GS platform as far as wheel fitment. Did 18x12+54 on my old SC and doing something similar on Supra. My goal is always maximum wheel under car with maximum tire with only fender roll and slight pull. Looking at buying a 2GS sometime soon and just wanted to see the possibilities.
