a/c compressor, Receiver/drier, and Expansion Valve.
Hello,
I am reading up on how to replace my a/c compressor, and other appropriate parts. I am using the repair manual on the link found in the sticky. The compressor seems fairly easy to remove and install. My question is where is the reciever/drier? Is there another name for it? I can not locate it in the manual.

The drier is in the passenger side of the condensor. If you look at the condensor that side has a round cylinder on the end. There is a fitting on the bottom (yes bottom, grab your chicks mirror) which unscrews and you slide the new drier in there. Once the rad is out of the way. Remove the 2 10mm bolts holding the condensor on and then remove the 2 ac lines. Then the condensor pulls out and you can change it. Very easy once all the other crap is out of the way and the system is purged.
