as a few members mentioned, my leds on my doors only stay very dimly light. its weird cus when i shut my doors all lights and leds shut off, but then after about 30 seconds, the leds dim up. its a very light dim and theyve never drained my battery completely, not til now that is.

i have leds in my footwells and those dont dim up, just my door leds

maybe it happends to most of us we just dont realize cus we never looked.
Mine do the same, I noticed it when I pulled in my garage, shut off the lights and looked in my front window. I never cared because it didn't drain my battery for over 2 years now. It's also kinda hard to see unless you have a dark area, for those who want to check it out..

oh okay,so this has been the case for u for 2 years now?!
lol wow. well im glad no one has ad any real issues with it when i first saw it i thought "damn it, great, a problem i gota fix now". so im glad to hear no one has had any problems with it, i just wonder why leds do it but the regular bulbs dont?

usually the most il leave my car undriven for is a weekend. but i wonder if i dont drive it for a week, if the leds will drain the battery then.

I can't really say why some of us have the lights on Others don't have this issue. All I know is that mine have been dim for a long time....I have had no issues with charging or starting for a while now.. I think ur safe

Mine does it as well. Not all the time. If I turn the engine off, take the key out, look at the light it is off, then it dimly lights up. I can actually see it turn on.

you know how big the list would be if we all compared leds?

hmmmm weird, 99% of all of mine are V-leds and i dont have this issue so now im really perplexed.

i guess as long as it isnt enough to drain your battery its no biggie or shouldnt be

can any one of us with the diming problem please do an experiment?

leave your car parked (undriven) for a good period of time, and see if the dimmed LED's kill the battery?!
