I always wondered if your on air and you go from slammed to 4X4, what do you do for alignment?
If you usually ride low, can you raise it up and drive like that for lets say 2 months, do you need a new alignment?

if you care about tire wear, yes you do need a new alignment.

yeah air can be reliable for a DD, just have it installed properly.

get the car aligned at drive height and your all good. "Accuair e-level is very easy to use"

Don't do air for daily driver homie... Just get some regular drops or if you really wanna o/d get some coils. You answered your own question when you mentioned the weather. That's why initially I never went air or coils... If I keep mine for a while, air will be my next project... You know anyone that wants a 400?

the people that mainly say no to air have not owned a air setup...

regarding alignment.. as stated above get an alignment at the ride height you prefer.. and drive it like that. its just like coilovers..(set ride height and get alignment)... just you get to slam it while parked or air up to get more clearance.

Downside of air... Money. be prepared to dish some greens.

I have about 25k miles on my air setup. If I didn't daily my car it would be on coilovers. I got air so I would be able to daily drive it at the height I wanted to.

100% agree once its installed properly and the shop explains to you what to do , look for and use the system and when the car is a perfect daily .
Problem is most shops and owners don't know .

Yup, with proper height sensors of any sort come in very good hand! However, if you're an in town driver, no too much will happen to tires... its the long drives that'll kill your tires if with bad alignment. I had problems the first month, I learned quick though! Went through a set of tires in a month
