Default Whoa i just noticed Carfax prices!!

When i was looking to purchase a jeep last year i purchased 3 different carfax unlimited amounts over a period of 3 months before i found the right one. So now im in the market for another lexus whether it be an LS, IS or RX, and i just noticed their prices went from 40 bucks for a whole month to 45 bucks for 5 of them. This is a Bunch of BS, why do they have to rape us with these prices its ridiculous, I paid them accordingly when i used their site and now they are just price gouging like crazy. How reliable is that auto check site vs. carfax and i know that even carfax isnt a for sure thing but its better than nothing. However there is no way in heck im paying 45 bucks for 5 checks only.

Since it's so essential to have a Carfax report when buying a used car, Carfax can jack up the price on a report and know that people will still buy one since it's a small price to pay to avoid a major headache.

I haven't been very impressed with CarFax since the time, about 2 years ago, that I paid for a report on a car that I KNEW had been wrecked (the owner told me). It didn't come back with anything on the report, and this was an accident that went through the insurance company.

Because of that, I ran an AutoCheck on my GS430 before I bought it and was happy with the information it provided.
