I had that happened 3 years ago. Had to get the shift lever control unit replaced.

Can you hear the solenoid lever release when you apply the brakes?

A common cause of this problem is a defective brake light switch at the top of the brake pedal. Have someone stand behind your car and see if the brake lights are working when you step on the pedal.

hay waz up guys sorry bout da lag.. but yea i had my friend step on the brake and i checked all the lights in the back and were workin fine, checked the 15A fuse and it was good too but, wen i toke apart the center console i notice that theres a white lever that releases from "park" wen u step on the brake so im guessin it might b a solenoid problem.. and no i havent fixed it i been realy lazy lol but if u guys come up with any more ideas let me know
