How to get rid of the "hyper flash" from installing LED turn signal?
Don't know have this been cover yet but has anyone used an "Electronic Flasher Relay" instead of a load resistor? I think this alternative way would work much better than having a "load resistor" which runs very hot. Any comments?
BTW, the LEDS that are gonna be put on my car would be the front turn signals, the LED mirror covers, and the LED blue angle mirrors.

I will look it up. you can either buy a relay from vled and others or you can solder two resistor to the existing relay. I would do the later because you get to keep the armed confirmation of the alarm system.

I believe VLED is out of stock and/or isnt carrying the relays anymore.... I found these when I did my searching a month ago or so:
Flasher Relay
You want the one on the bottom pn# CF18-08. I wouldnt do the load resistor, they cost more and will eventually stop working thats what happened to me.

I'm actually barley gonna order it, however I believe I read that it does stop the visual flash from keyless entry. As for install, as said above, its under driver side panel up on top. Yes the links have step by step how to locate and remove. Its kinda clamped in, but easy to remove.

Checked on eBay looks like V-LEDS,warden_jp, and others are saling the same product.

i think that is for the 2 LED Electronic Flasher Relay. Don't know if the one that Jokster is getting is the same or not.

Fast blinking flasher
I have a 1999 Lexus GS300 and I changed all flasher lamps to LEDS.
Then I had Fast Blinking.
The reason is that the LEDS draw very little CURRENT and the Current sensor LOOP in the flasher thinks of a bad lamp hence Hyper Flash.
Previously I had the same issue on my Toyota Sequoia 2005 and I took the Flasher unit out and replaced the Current sensing SHUNT Loop
with a 0.15 OHM 1 Watt Resistor. all the lights came back to normal flash.
I did a similar Resistor on my Lexus but it wont Blink at all. So I bought a bunch of resistors which were little Higher and little lower in value and
started experimenting. The one that worked the normal blink came out to be 0.1 OHM at 1 WATT.
I though I hit jackpot but then my Emergency flasher will not flash at all so I added another 0.1 OHM 1 Watt resistor in Parallel.
Everything works now as if it was with Normal lamps.
One other thing that I did not test was what will happen if one of the LEDS burns out----Well I am not going to give it another thought and will leave
it to someone ELSE as I am sure this Handsome LEDS will outlast my Lifetime

....or buy LEDs that have the tech build in.
I have switchbacks in front and back and they neither flash fast nor trip the warning light.
Now my brake LEDs, on the other hand.....but I just read in another thread that it may be the 3rd light bulbs that are doing it. I have not kept those LED and may have put a 194 in by mistake.
