The closest pic I have off hand is this, i'll get a better one later. My blackberry didn't capture the mettalic flake
Here is my old m3 with painted rims in the same color with the same paint
Rims off my old vr4 (mustang cobra rims) painted with same paint as above
Same graphite paint on trans am rims
Vr4 rim painted with same brand of paint, just the bronze version
Random set of m3 rims I Painted for my friend with regular black spray paint
Set of rims painted gold with regular spay paint and a metallic clear coat
As you can see the darkness varies with that graphite paint, I noticed if I use a dark primer the finish will turn out darker and the more coats you apply , it will darken a bit. Those are some of the rims I painted

This is my favorite kind of wheel paint, but any paint will work really. Just get a clear automotive clear coat from advanced, I also use a sandable primer before I apply a base coat too. I only have to use one coat for the base also, two is better but I did all 4 rims with 1.5 cans
