Default O2 Sensor Harness Pigtail

I sent my 2002 Lexus GS300 out for an O2 sensor replacement. When technician started process of removing O2 sensor, he noticed two of the four wires on the harness side of the connector were disconnected (see picture). Besides this being a rather strange occurrence, the fact remains the sensor may have to get replaced but the harness certainly needs to be repaired. Do I really need to replace the entire wire harness (as suggested by the Technician) - a $200 item? Or is there a way to simply repair the pigtail of the connector?

Yes, that terminal can be repaired.
Pull out the water proofing plugs for the back and you will be able to remove the metal pin connection.
The procedure is in the FSM ... maybe someone else has this info handy?

This might be useful WIRE, TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR REPAIR

I had to do this on my daily the life of driving low. I broke two sensors and had to replace the two connectors too. I just went to the local pick a part. Good luck
