Default Gauges looks christmas tree :(

I just got my gs300 from a guy in ny. It s a 2000 gs300 with a 2jzgte swap. I will try to get a picture of all the lights that are on. He said that the a few lights are on because the driver front abs sensor is bad. Im cool with that.

The issue i have is that the fuel light keeps blinking. It blinks all the damn time. He said that its a common issue with gs300's with the 2jz swaps. Is there any truth to that?

Also, he mentioned that the temperature gauge stays at the cold position for the same reason. I cant imagine that these would be expensive fixes, but i was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this.

Thank you!

check your gas cap. That could be the cause of the fuel light blinking.

Check your gas cap, my gs400 does the same thing, also my vsc on/off lit up at the same time and i got new front brakes and rotors and they dissapeared for weeks, havent seen them since, try holding in your odo/trip buttons at the same time to reset them for your gas/hot cold temp gauges, if the car runs fine then pull the lights out on the dash...

ABS light is on, you would need a special scanner that can read ABS. Or there is a thread on how to check the ABS code without using a scanner if you search. GL

If this your car then reason for i think is, because he did the non vvti swap 2jzgte in your 2gs, some wiring issues with the second Ecu he ran that is the ODB1,, as tht car is running of two ecu, this happens wen u do the non vvti swap and not wired properly. some guys have nothing showing up except the vsc light

I know where the coolant temperature sensor is located I know that the ecu uses this sensors information. My question is: does the gauge use this sensor or is there another one? If there is another one (the one the Gauge uses, where is it?
