Default What is the piece in the front driver side fender, where the fender marker would go?

So yesterday i was mucking aroudn with the fender liner and pulled it back to find this module piece that sits on the inside of the driver side fender.

its located basically where the fender side marker would go like in this picture. (the white marker behind the front wheel, but on the driver side inside the fender)

felt behind it and its connected to something.

looks round and circular in shape. any idea? i tried going thru sewells pictures but couldnt find what it is.

thought someone else might have a clue, just curious what it is suppose to be?

thanx

I can look through the factory manual for you but not until Tuesday. If no one chimes in by then I will.

Wheres my pic???

I looked at all the diagrams i could find and none show any modules down there. If you get a pic, or just a good look, see if there is a part number on it.

its on the fender, like on the back side of the front driver fender, towards the driver, not the front bumper. all i know is there is a plug/wire connected to it.

tried using sewell's pictures to see if i could find out what it was... no clue.

It looks like a buzzer or horn to me. And after combing through the diagrams it looks like it is the Wireless buzzer. Get down there and lock/unlock the car with your master key and see if that is where the noise comes from.

I also found this after a quick search: BEEEEP BEEEEP on my gs??
