What is the piece in the front driver side fender, where the fender marker would go?

I know this is an old thread, but..

Was this on your 430?

Is it the headlight leveling sensor?

At first I was thinking the same thing, but re read the question OP asked. Hes talking about further back towards where the fender mounts by the door.

If it were a Auto leveling sensor it would be just about the control arm on the driver side.

I knew where he was talking about. I did not know where the sensor was. Does not seem like it would HAVE to be more forward in the car, just somewhere close to the wheels.

Now I am even more curious.
