Default New Wheels are on.

Well i finally put the wheels on the GS, i have to admit the Axis Shine's look pretty darn good. Thanks (rexblue) for the great transaction, also Thanks to all the CL community for giving me the lexus bug back lol.

Ok so i took some pics of my rusted suspension components and i ended up wire wheeling them and painting them black.

nice and rusty yumm

And the rear

Took everything apart

Check out this brake line

Yes i used a bbq grill black metal paint lol. it acually held up pretty well, i tried to scratch it off after drying with no luck.(not that it matters anyways the salt and snow will have their way no matter what i do.

painted the calipers

painted the knuckle sway bar tie rods and caster arms, hub assembly and dust shield black

Heres the finished product

Changed the cabin filter while i was at it

Now heres the wheels Axis shine 19x8.5 with 225/35 yokohamas up front and 265/30 yokohamas in the rear

Here she is with the wheels on

Well its about as low as i really want to go with it, i put the eibach pro kit on it, Michigan roads are terrible, it would be pointless to go any lower it really would.

EDIT: unless i got bags now that would be sweet

they actually are flat but the flash from the camera gives them a shine, but in person its completely flat. made a world of difference i tell you that, especially the new shoes expose everything and all that corrosion was unnaceptable

If the roads are bad why not 245/40 275/35 set up. Im in NY and the roads Suck ***. thats the lowest i would go and even then i really need to watch out. a little more meat would have been nice, also filling your wheel gap a little more.

I like the wheels
