Thank you!!! But the car ain't that clean if one would look close enough, all the bad stuff would show
Hey fellow european GS-owner I hate having those things too, but this summer I'm definitely removing the antenna and re-wiring rear fogs so that they'd act as stop signals, but without loosing rear fog functionality, meaning that I plan on installing a switch that would enable to me to choose which one I need, you dig?! I will report with DIY when done!
Thank you sir!

Welllllll
Here's another portion of the same (still) stock European GS
Currently I have following updating coming along:
01-05 led mirror covers from our Vendor!
Most probably, my GS will be the first one to sport these in Europe!
My wooden-wheel project is coming along nicely as well, I have started sanding and I'm proud to say that after gazillion hours of sanding I'm FINALLY still sanding geeeez, that's going to take quite a while!
Well, either way, here are some pictures I have taken back in the winter time

This has been mentioned quite a few times now. The outers on European GS are for fog lights, we have a special button for turning them on/off, I believe you can see the switch on one of my interior shots.
But as I've already mentioned I plan on re-working the system, so that they could act as fogs and as stop lights just by turning a switch!

Project wood steering wheel
Well I bought the wheel long time ago and the color of the finish didn't match at all.
Here are a couple of pictures:
So I began sanding in the hopes of reaching pure wood soon
But after centuries of sanding in a row I began doubting my techniques
And thanks to this CL page right here:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...hing-pics.html
I understood that sanding isn't the way to go.
So after applying some of the "right" chemicals on the wheel I quickly got these results:
So the last picture is how it is at the moment. I'm pretty happy with how things are turning out and in the nearest future am planning on using this guys advices:
http://www.minwax.com/expert_tips/wood_finishing/
On how to correctly prepare, paint, etc my steering wheel.
Please reply with any advices, hints on how to "at least try" to make sure I get the right tone of the finish and match it to my interior stock wood.
Thank you!

Update:
Thanks to our vendor CLT I have ordered LED mirror covers for my GS.
I think I was the first European GS owner to order these, but DenIS200 was the first one to install them
By the way he has also helped me out with wiring both LED mirror covers as well wiring my inner tail lights to make them work as stop lights! Thank you very much Denis!!!
Not having too much free money at the moment I decided to paint mirror covers myself
The triangular aluminum thing that holds the mirror was in a very bad shape so I thought I'd paint it as well.
Here are a couple of pictures of the process...
This is where I'm applying a chemical to help me strip the paint:
After sanding, adding primer and lacquering:
Painting covers:
Then I proceeded with wiring and stuff (my GS has never been this apart before ):
In this pictures you can see two wires going up, from the "pioneer" box, these are for the covers that is
And here they are installed:
I have them wired up this way: Cornering leds are wired to the cornering light European GS have on the fendder and the puddle lights are wired to the foot light inside the cabin. Cornering light on the fender doesn't work anymore and will eventually be taken care of when my car will be resprayed. As you can tell the color is a tad darker than oem, and the covers do not feel smooth, although I have used tons of lacqure, I will polish them in a week time and then see how it goes. But the triangular thing I have painted feels different and the color seems to match a lot better. Tell me what you think! Thanks!

As some of you have noticed European GS has an antenna at the back of the car. It looks ugly and I hated it Well, this one is kinda sorted as well, here are some pics:
As some of you have noticed (part 2 ), all European GS have inner tail ligths act as fog lights, well finally I had them wired up so that they would act as stop lights, but with a switch of a button they would be back to acting as foggies, vital for technical control. Here is a crappy phone pic:
I also had a very minor accident like a month ago, one dude has slightly scratched my rear bumper, well it turned out to be my gain, since I had it resprayed and repaired at the lexus dealership!
