Default My contribution to CL ---- 2000 GS300 ---PICS ADDED---
Last fall I was looking around for a dependable car to be my winter ride.

I had a 2006 MB C55 AMG at the time and that ride was definitely NOT going to see Ohio winter/snow/sleet/salt/potholes etc etc....

Came across a '00 GS300 Black/Tan bone stock but well used. I picked her up for $6,800. She had 110K at the time. Clean, no accidents and no paint work. I had the rear bumper repainted but it looks like crap after a few blue hairs play bumper cars with it in the parking lots around town!! Repainting soon and maybe the front clip as well..

Ran strong but I knew how I am with my cars and there was a lot of work in store for the GS AND me!!!

So, to date, here is what's been done:

    That's alot of work in a short time Greg! Get those pics up! I'd like to see how the partially debadged rear looks on black without the chrome trunk bar, something I've been thinking about doing.

    Yeah sounds real nice man... Can't wait to see it! Dont think the GS is a very good winter ride though...

    True but, its a RWD though. I felt the brunt of that last year. I totalled my 300 when I hit some black ice. Tires were okay but I guess that was the root of the problem
