So I have the opportunity to get my roof painted. I like the black roof scheme, but want to know if a flat black roof would look nice vs a glossy black roof.
I say glossy black. My reason is I always thought the black roof was supposed to mimic the all glass panel sunroofs. The only time I personally would like to see a flat black roof is if it were actually dry carbon fiber or carbon fiber look.

I agree. Gloss is the way to go.
What other color would you go with? Unless the car was two-toned like BlueLex's, I can't think of what would look good...
so all of us with silver cars and gloss black roofs look like crap? I get compliments on mine all the time. Most people think the car came that way stock. but to each his own i guess.

just my opinion. I just don't think it looks right on any car except white. But if you get props, then good for you. At least I may be a minority here.

that wont be to my liking as im not a chrome fan but will be different atleast and i will say props for that. kinda makes me think bout that show prelude a long time ago that part of its paint theme was the bare metal chromed....it looked good, let me look for a pic.
BTW ricky how is that TT build coming, havent seen a update on it in ages.
EDIT: couldnt find the prelude but found this sick bmw....1200 a gallon and imagine cleaning it
