is it WRONG to install a trailer hitch on a 2GS?
im moving from vancouver BC to norcal soon
plan to drive my car down
i dont have a lot of stuff to bring, a small 4x8 u-haul trailer should hold what i need
is it wrong and stupid to install a trailer hitch on my 2GS?
its at stock height
dont really want to do it but not sure what the alternatives are
are trailer hitches removable?

heres the 4x8 low profile trailer u-haul has
4' x 8' trailer
Low-profile. Holds twin size bed.
If your hitch system is rated at:
1,000 lbs. 2,000 lbs. 3,500 lbs. 5,000 lbs. +
can carry:
150 lbs___ 1150 lbs. 1650 lbs. 1650 lbs.
$114.00

oh ok that not to bad if your just moving but...but please for the love of are car gods take it off once your not in need of ...dont do like those people that run around with bumper guards flipping all over the place
y do u have to pay to install it in the first place? its 4 bolts...
although that one guy was right..........weigh the $ of buying/renting one, (labor should be free, install it yourself) VERSUS renting a big uhaul with a car dollie

People on this forum are generally idiots that don't even know how to change their own oil.
If you can get the hitch used (cheap), I'd say its worth it. I got the hitch for $40, installed it in about 30 minutes, and can pull my bikes around just fine. Paying a moving company to haul your stuff that far would cost a bit more I would think.

There's a dude on here with aristo swap and a tow hitch. Don't want to blow up his spot because it's "bone stock". I love it because it's stock body so with the hitch you would never know. Sleeper.
