the fender liner inside. its not completely smooth, and there are spots that sit lower than others. either cut it away, or take off the wheel warm it up with a heat gun, and push it upward out of the way.
the other trouble spot is the fender edge, on certain spots, its as wide as 3/4in, thus u either cut them or roll them.

This is what I've been doin the past week or two. Allow the fender liner to get a little dirty or dusty and rub for a few days. Then use a box cutter or some HD scissors to cut away the spots where you see the tire has put rub marks on the liner. I got rid of 90% of my rubbing the 1st try. We rode 4 deep this weekend and I heard a light noise 2-3 times that nobody else in the car even heard... but I'll put it back under the knife this weekend

Fender liner at the 12 o'clock-ish position on both sides. I did also have some issues with the black metal fender trim before too. It was only on the passenger though and bent out of place every time I went up steep driveways. I ended up removing these metal trims on both sides but it looks a bit uglier now since it shows where the holes are for the screws, and the fact that I still have them on the rear only.

there are 3 essential parts to the fender that ppl modify, remove, or even melt to get the spacing they need not to rub and to run low offset wheels.
1) fender liner edge, this is that 10mm plastic or thin metal edge that is held in place on the fender via some small screws that go into plastic tabs in holes in the fender. its mainly decorative, and used to essentially connect the fender liner to the fender.
2) fender edge, this is the metal folded edge that ppl either cut, or fold to gain the mm of space needed to run the low offset rims.
3) fender liner. its basically a curved plastic cover that keeps dirt from flinging off the tires onto the underside of the fender. the issue is that its not completely smooth and thus there are parts that are lower than others. some ppl use a heat gun to make it soft then use something to push it upwards, or cut out the low areas completely.
the rears seem ok for room, but its mainly the fronts that are the issue as the wheels turn and so more underside room is needed
