Default Rarest Trunk Spoiler

I've been fielding a lot of PM's about my trunk spoiler in the past few weeks, so I just wanted to post it up so that people know what it is. The spoiler is the only one that I am aware of in the US.

The spoiler is a Silk Blaze spoiler, and it covers the stock spoiler holes, but I welded mine before installing it. The spoiler is a perfect fit and comes with everything in the box. A real expensive piece but I love the look.

Test fitting pics as soon as I received it, couldn't wait.LOL.

If I can ask, what did you pay for the spoiler? It might be expensive, but still cheaper than having holes welded/sanded/trunk repaint/paint blending...

I paid right around $600 shipped from Japan to NYC and had it in my hands with 2 weeks after ordering. That was the cheapest I could get, other quotes that I received were $575 plus an extra $200-250 for shipping.

Plus paint!? Crap. Wow. OK, well, thanks...looks like someone's gonna be firing up the ole' welder this spring! That or I'll be up all night with cardboard, bondo, ducttape, and spray paint.

$600 and just having to paint doesnt seem so bad compared to what all these creeps in upstate ny are trying to get just to weld the holes shut and respray my trunk so i can get rid of my oem wing...ill pay whatever to get the job done properly but any of the shops around here that i asked basically tried to talk me out of it and "just leave the nice oem spoiler alone, didn't it cost you extra to have it come on the car from the factory anyway?!" so i shook my head and walked. nobody gets what "clean" looks like around here.

so whos got a blue onyx pearl gs wingless trunk dying to trade for mine? ha, yeah right.

i had my oem trunk holes welded, bondo, and painted for $400....so yah...I guess buying a wing that covered those holes without doing what I did makes sense.
