sakataj....Im assuming that all this PNP only works for the Disc based systems? The guys with Hard drive systems in their 98s are still fkd right?

joel my man, i may have one for you. so your using version 2.1? i THINK i have a version 5.1 i will give you, just cause your my buy. soon we need to talk bout that CF engine cover. oh yeah while im thinking bout it...i wanted to check with you first. you remember that front license tag you gave me? well we dont have front plates here and i was wondering if you wouldnt mind if i donated it to someone on this thread

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ty-thread.html

since you gave it to me i didnt wanna offend you and give it away without you saying its cool. but i dont need it and im sure someone would love to have and use it

no problem man. let me know how it works out and if you need advice/info feel free to holler at me

yeah, pretty much. last update for you'll is the 2004. there is a thread on here botu some guy converting his 1998-2000 nav to a 2001+ nav but he spent like 1500 (granted this was like 4 years or longer ago) and i give him props for doing it but its not worth it $ wise, cheaper to install a non nav climate control and then a aftermarket H.U. with nav

Can you just buy an upgrade disc without having to replace the whole unit?? I'd like to just get the disc trying to remove the unit or whatever is way too much for me, lol. Anyone know where to get a good deal on a disc? How do I check the version I have now?

^ You need the Gen 4 from a 2005 model. Some of the 05 models had the Gen 4
