Default Tires for GS300

I need new tires for my GS300 year 2000. I need all seasons tires. The ones I have right now is for Orlando weather. And now Im living in NY and when it snows, I can not drive my car. It slides a lot and sometimes it just can't move. So yes it's about time I look for new tires. Does anyone know what kind of tires are good for this car?

Find some cheap wheels and put on some Blizzaks. I will never drive another winter without the proper tires.

I had the Yokohama avid v4s and i thought they were great all season tires. Good in the rain and provided good grip in the summer months

Never get all season tires for the snow, period! I live in Germany, heidelberg to be exact where it isn't suppose to snow that much. Well, its been snowing a lot this winter and I'm glad I got snow tires...I bought Hankook Iceberg and they have performed nicely in the snow and rain, no complaints to be honest. I am glad I got them cause other folks with all season tires end up getting stock in the snow. A friend of mine couldn't get her Mercedes up the ramp of her parking lot, ended up sliding and scratched up the rear fender of her Benz, so yeah, get snow tires.

Welcome to CL btw.

Been in upstate NY and New England for over 10 years, I can tell you that no all season tire come close to winter tire. And you rather want to be safe than sorry. A good set of Blizzak will last 3-4 seasons and let your summer tires last a bit longer since you only use them in summer.

I highly suggest you get snow tires. I don't feel uneasy anymore driving with Blizzak tires. Thus far, I've yet to fishtail but the VSC does kick in here & there. I was able to get up the driveway with 5" of snow still on the ground with no slipping or anything.
