L-Sportline side skirts...wavy looking?
Not sure but my side skirts look almost wavy. I noticed this when I picked the car up from the bodyshop. They mentioned that it's because it is made of polyurethane and it should flatten out after it's been exposed to the sun.
Well, fast-forward 6 mos and it's still the same. Was it bad prep work? Could they have sanded it down to get rid of the "waves" before they laid the paint?
What do you think?

Sup bro. No it won't work by keeping it in the sun. That happens when they poly the crap out of the plasic, then sand, then poly, and so on. Problem is that they get the parts nice and straight without the tension of being on the car. If they would paint and adjust everyting on the car, that wouldn't happen.
Same deal happened to my roof spoiler. First time it was done on the car, came out dope. Nice mirror black finish, no issues. When the spoiler was glued, there was a bunch of silicone residue left, so he left it there not to mess with the spoiler and tape. Guess what, the body guy was cleaning my glass from residue silicone, and scratched the spoiler mad hard. So he took it off, and repainted off the car. Looked great for about 3 days. Then got wavy. He painted it again, same result. I left it on as i was getting tired of driving around with a stip of residue glue on my glass. Turned out that the tension on the spoiler is very different when it is on the car, which causes the poly to settle and stretch.
