I AM SUPER ****....lol really i only went back OEM though cause i just had my L-sportline rear and front bumper shaved with TTE lip painted so i wanted them to look good. im the guy who made the DIY so i know you can use others i just thought my freshly painted bumpers deserved the oem fit

this looks like the 3/8" that people haven't been able to find.

here is 1/4" trim in many different colors (click on 36' single stripes/one color)

I think I might try the Silver Metallic, Pewter Metallic or Black Ultra Metallic.

doesnt say it had 3/8???

1/8...1/4 .. or 3/4

it should be double sided tape on the roll, if not take it back and buy the one that does

To bump an old thread, I did mine today and it came out great. I pulled the old trim off slowly and it left quite a bit of the old padding and it made it sit semi stock. If I have any issues in the future owhell I can do it all again for 14.99

Lets bump this old thread up...

How did you guys replace the trims that's on the side of the car? Don't seem like it just peels off, kind of harder then the front bumper and rear.

Should pop right off, it's only held by double sided tape.

Glad this old thread got bumped. I'm replacing my front bumper chrome molding right now and went OEM. My issue is the molding is about a foot or so longer than my front bumper. Why is this?

I double checked the part number and discovered that the front and rear moldings are the same part so that's not the issue.

Anybody else have this issue with the OEM moldings for the bumpers?

I used the aftermarket chrome moulding on the front and it hardly lasted a year before the chrome finish started flaking all over. The OEM stuff on the back bumper still has sheen and as far as I know it's factory original.
