Sonar Tails Light Smoke (courtesy TAMR_GUS98)
Insurance Thin clear Tails ( Courtesy GSing430)
Snowflake Tails with lower clear edge area sprayed with red tint (RMMGS4)
The clear thickness measures the same as GSing430's Insurance tails)
Tape off before tinting
Edge sprayed with Transluscent Red Paint

It's amazing what a difference that little extra detail of red makes.. Blends much better for a more oem look.

You're welcome guys. I used vinyl masking tape (not paper
) since it curves waaay better and won't bleed paint underneath. You DEFINITELY don't want the paint to bleed..
I used Testor's Candy Apple Red Spray Paint available in the Model Section of your Local Hobby Shop. I'm sure there are other sources.
I sprayed two light and "even" coats. Any more and it will get too dark
That can is good for easily 5 pairs of tails. Maybe locals can do a Group Buy to share one can

Any automotive Paint and Body Shop Supply Store.
Look up key words like Dupont or PPG for starters.
You'll find this tape is great for all other types of masking needs. Just ask Chip Foose.
