Question Non-operative dash cluster - Black out

Odd thing occured the other night when my GS400 would not start, everything was dead, no click, nothing. I popped the hood, adjusted the battery cables and then it started, only to find out that my instrument cluster does not light up. And I can not tell how fast I'm was going nor how much gas I have left.....total black out; not only that but the radio, temp and shift inidcators also do not light up only in running light mode. Anyone here experience this or have any idea what might be the problem?

Thumbs up Mystery Solved!

UPDATE - Easy fix, simply disconnect negative battery cable for 30 mins. for reset.
Reconnect cable.....restart vehicle.....and now everything lights up like a christmas tree.
