^ Same here. I'm testing out some fabrics right now, to see which I like best.

let me know the price you get......the guy who helped/did mine wants $300 for my visors alone as he said they are really time consuming to do by hand

Nice work. Always wanted to do this but didn't have ***** to do it to a Lexus. Did it to my civic though with the same process. Thanks for confirming! Welcome to CL!

I did mine too. used a different glue but the 3m stuff is easier to get. also invest in a panel tool. most kits costs under $20 at your auto parts or tool store. I painted all my extras and decided to remove my visors. I also added carbon fiber vinyl on the handles

It is also a good time to sound dampen the roof with the sunroof out

Hey Tony, any issues with the black paint/dye wearing off the plastic bits (overhead console, etc)?

Default Replacing headliners

Can I replace the headliner with any old fabric. I'm working on a family lexus es300 93' and they want a fabric from Timeless treasures brand, they have something called a constellations kinderpack and would like the same fabric from that on the headliner so it glows the constellations at night for the kids. Possible or no I need specfic fabric, and new foam or use the old headliner

you can use that if you want, depending on how thin the fabric and your OEM headliner is, you may have to use new foam.

ADVISE: thin coats of adhesive so it doesnt bleed through
