Default Falken 452 tires ? bubble inside of tire

Went to get my tires flipped today. Fronts were done than, ran into a problem w/ the rears. Tech said there was a bubble on the inside of tire and 2 nails. WTF.! luckily they prorated my tire. Is this a common problem w/ Falkens 452's?

I see posts all the time about people with 452's bubbling. I've had mine on for 2 years with no issues. although I noticed you said you had nails in them. If you run on these tires with low pressure, they will get bubbles.

452's were notorious for bubbles and blowouts. The newer ones seemed to be fixed.

It seems that the 452's bubble easily when stretched, I've had them on my GS the last 2 summers but mine aren't stretched. I did have the sidewall shred on one of my rears last year but I can't say it was the tires fault, never know if it was losing air and running low pressure at the time of failure or something like that.

bubbles can occur on any tire.

my buddy had them on his dunlops...near the edge of the treads and sidewalls meet.....he hit a pothole...and that was it.

I also recently had to change my FK452's, put on about 10k miles and there were 2 bubbles on the inside tread.

FK452's really suck..... stretched or not....
i had 4 sets of wheels with nitto... continental... Bf's and the only tire i had problems were the 452's i its not a good time.... if i can go with any tire i would go with continentals... not too soft and not too noisy and great grip...

FK452's are the worst tires ever. They will bubble even at high PSI.
