Fail. The Nav unit from my car has a one piece board, the one in the guide you posted is a two piece. I could not find any button anywhere on either side of the board. I had actually looked for a reset button when it first when down but thought that maybe I had missed it.

Thanks for trying though Brian.

But thanks for lookin out and hopefully something comes up soon where we dont have to spend hundreds of dollars just for pressing some unknown buttons. I wonder if I were to get a the dvd from the language that was shown, do you think that would work?
damn, well i was hoping you guys. i was trolling when i was posting bout some other nav stuff and i stumbled upon that. was hoping it to be the magic fix....guess not. sorry abel and kajay

i dont even know where my old nav unit is. i think i broke it one day. i got pissed after i replaced it that it even went out and they sell the actual hard drive replacements (not the whole ecu just the HD) but not in america and i couldnt find ANY company to install it. it was cheap too, like $85

Damn, wish I read or came across this before messing with mine. Same ***** happened to me today when I burnt a copy of an update and put it in. Then when it didn't read, I started pressing buttons. And yes I pressed the stupid "US" ***** too. Now my Navi displays the same damn screen. ******* *****.
