Default GS Headlight question

Hello all,
Earlier today, i was adjusting my headlights and was trying to make my headlight shine up more. Than, for some reason it stop moving up and it went all the way down. Did i break it? i barely adjust it a little bit... and now when i try to adjust it... it won't go up or down. is there something that can fix this.

check out the pics. it's the left side (driver side) that went down.

please help?

You probably overextended the adjustment. You better hope that you just popped the bowl out of the socket. If so, you can reach in from the back of the headlight and pull the bowl back onto the socket. If you cracked the adjustment tab, then you're really screwed...no pun intended lolz.

Is there a way to avoid this?

Longer screws? Put washers/nut on the end so you can't overextend?
