Brands Of Tints
What is the best tint brand? i will tint my car soon please guys tell me the best just BLACK tints, no fancy mirror stuffs just black like limo. not purpleish AT ALL ( i hate that ) thanks guys let me know the best company!

Johnson or Llumar make the best tints. Llumar is what Formula 1 uses to tint windows. You can't just go to a store and buy tint from either of these companies though. You have to be an installer or know someone who is. Also window tinting is not an easy job so I would strongly suggest a professional doing it for you if you want to be happy with the results.

It's my understanding, although I could be wrong... that the "purplish" colored tint we see from time to time is a result of someone using an amonia based(like windex) window cleaner on the inside of their windows to clean it.
Never do that. I have always just used a damp clean chamois.

Sasha let me know when you are ready to tint.. I'll hook you up with my buddy at Tint Master in Mississauga.. He has tinted all my vehicles in the past and does a GREAT job.. He did my GS for $200 cash (No Tax 
damn government) and gives you a lifetime warranty.. Here is his CRAPPY website.. I bug him all the time about it..

Opps forgot to tell you that he carries Lumar tints.. I've got the Black tint with the slight mirror effect to it.. Take a look at my picture gallery to see if you like the look of the tint..

BAD TINT JOB - ECLIPSE WINDOW TINT - NOVATO CA
BAD TINT JOB @ ECLIPSE WINDOWS TINT in Novato, CA (northern cali)
Please don't go there. Unprofessional staff and unreliable service.
This was my experience:
The owner wanted cash, so I said fine, I'll bring cash after the
job was done. When I came back to get the car, he refused to give
me an invoice (which I've demanded for my record) according to him,
he does not give invoice on cash deal, so he won't have to report it
as income in his business. Shady business practice.
But what pisses me off was I came back a week after for "touch up"
on those bubbles all around the windows. He did not do them,
instead he made an excuse that my rear passenger windows
were chipped perhaps from a welding job on a door panel which is a b..****
excuse. After, I've raised hell, he suggested that he would remove the film
and put in a new one, but would have to charge me. I told him "Screw you",
that I've regretted taking my GS300 to his one-man shop. The business did
not even give me the "lifetime warranty" that was verbally implied before
they did the work.
What a bunch of unethical & unprofessional ***......
I repeat don't go there.
