98 gs400 vs 2000 gs400 transmission are they the same

Default 98 gs400 vs 2000 gs400 transmission are they the same
I found a used transmission today for a reasonable price but its out of a 2000 GS400. DOes the 2000 gs400 tranny swap directly into a 98gs400. I was wanting to know are there any differences in the transmissions that I should be aware of, like different transmission lines, etc?

They are all the same. Just make sure that it's a A650e transmission and you're set to go.
