Damn, 13.8? Have you done any bpu upgrades yet? I think stock mkiv's ran 13.5 brand new!

Definitely jealous! My dream is a GTE with a 6 speed swap...the rest of the car could be completely stock....lol!

Thanks peoples

Now, the latest project....

Take apart a 4 speed rhd shifter and cut the mounting base off


Drill a new hole in the pivot pin for the handle and flip the pin so the new hole lines up



Mount the base from your 5 speed lhd shifter to the 4 speed rhd housing


And you can mount a 4 speed rhd Aristo shifter in your GS


There was a little extra trimming to get it to fit with the cup holder still functioning, but that's the basic idea.

Its a D-tec badge. I was going to pull it off but thought it made it a little more rare. I think the # on it is 007 too.

what happened to the wood trim? The finish doesn't seem too smooth...

i know in the past he was looking to buy another console, maybe all those scratches are why. guess he hasnt found one yet
