Default ball joint issues

been hearing a clicking noise from the front drivers side was wondering what it could be then read threads on the 2gs ball joint issues . got under looked and the upper ball joint rubber was all cracked and worn . called around dealer wanted over $500 for one side upper found them at kragen for $711 for right/left/upper and lower hope they hold up...... any feedback on the kragen parts?oh and after seeing some pics on what happens to a car when a balljoint goes out my car has been parked , sucks because i just got my rims..

Yea support our vendors...

Bigger rims does load down the suspension. That's the flaw.

well got to work and started on the left side all went well started to get the right side done tried to put in the upper arm and bam the stupid part was about 1/4 inch different ,it was not as wide at the body side , im hoping it was just a bad 1 and the next one fits will find out on monday since i had to order it again . oh by the way always use a pickle fork just in case the new parts dont fit , i didnt and couldnt get the old upper arm because i banged it off with a hammer and ruined the threads so my car sits on jack stands till tuesday .

Never use a pickle fork, it will rip the boot in half. What you need is a ball joint seperator pressing tool. They're only around $15-20 or so.

You can borrow a whole front end tool set at Autozone or similar parts place. They have a nice ball joint separator that won't rip boots!
