Default Sevas s22 offset question

Well I finally found a good deal for a really good looking set of wheels - Sevas S22... Here's the dilemma... Right now I'm running TSW Kyalami 20x8.5(+40 offset with 245/35/20 and 20x10(+35 offset) with 285/30/20 with no rubbing issues whatsoever... The Sevas wheels I found are 20x8.5 and 20x10 with +25 offset for all four wheels... I want to swap my current tires that are on the TSW wheels over to the Sevas wheels... But I don't know if its going to cause me to have rubbing issues... Does anyone know if I can run those offsets without any issues? ( I already have my rear fenders shaved) Please any info would be helpful... Thanks -Jayson

I've got 235/30/20 in the front and 245/35/20's in the rear, front rolled and rear shaved. No rubbing in rear dumped, well the front, that's another story..

i think your fitment would be nicely flushed without a problem since your rear is shaved

those are the g35 coupe offsets, they should fit nice, but fender mods will need to be done.

Yea see as long as it doesn't require me to have to go to a body shop and get my fenders pulled and all that kind of expensive stuff then I'll be okay... If i gotta do some more shaving and some minor modification then that's fine with me cuz I can do all that stuff by myself...

RidinLow what offsets are you running ? Your tire sizes aren't going to help the original OP unless your wheel widths and offsets matchup to the new set of wheels they are trying to buy.

BG_281 I use this calculator when trying to figure out offsets. http://www.kgm.tiwing.com/calcs/offsetcalc.htm going from +40 to +25 pushes everything out 15mm or a little over a half inch out towards the fender. I run 9.5 +35 with 275s on my rear and have slight rubbing issues on the passenger side. According to the calculator putting a 10 +25 on would push me out 16mm which would require a pull and not just a shave.

You could run stretched or a ton of camber in order to avoid futzing with your existing fenders.

Well that calculator helped me get a really good idea of what im gonna be getting... It told me that the new setup that I want will stick out toward the fender 10mm more than my current setup... which really isn't that much so I think it should work out just fine... So I guess im gonna go ahead and put in that order!!!
