Are you on stock shocks then? I keep hearing that shocks will blow on aftermarket springs only so be careful.

looks good i just got a set of Dfs from a local member for my G/Fs 400, you need to push that rear wheel out at least 30mm
Oh yeah If the springs are new its gonna settle some Defnanatly give it a week or so.

i think it depends, my SC has 215k miles and i put on my Espelirs at 181k with original struts its still fine and not blown, same goes for my G/Fs GS1, 207k installed a set of DFs and was fine untill 248k untill she got Tboned 2 months ago.

Yup, I am on my stock shocks. Thanks for that very useful info LexusK. I'll be more careful and I will change the shocks.

i've heard that the stock struts blow fairly quick after the installation of lowering springs

i think its like anything, some people have had good luck with it and some people have had bad luck with it. Like i said 2 Lexs and a 03 saab 9-3 all running just springs with stock struts, just fine for 40k+ miles so far on each after teh spring install. Had a 92 camry that went through 2 sets of rear Kyb GR2 struts and 1 set of gabriels fronts never blew, go figure. I think if you have the time and youre doing it yourself go for it, if you paying somone to do it for you def get new struts.

That's a respectable drop. Looks Good! I put on Bilstien shocks with my Eibach's, makes car handle really nice.
