Default NOt Gurgling Noise but flutter for GS3/4

Hi,

There's another thread like this one called Gurgling Sound and I have a similar problem but not gurgling rather fluttering sound.

The best description I can make for the fluttering sound is a slight muffler sound coming from the front of the car. You can't hear it really with the radio on but when it's off, it's noticeable.

I just installed an intake for my car and I've heard of fluttering for intakes when the car is low revving and on startup but the fluttering I hear on my car only happens when the car is on "D" and the car is stopped. When the car is on "P" or "N", the sound is gone but when I put the car in "D", and hit the brakes (I'm on a stop sign/light), the fluttering sound comes on again and disappears only when I let go of the brake and the car moves.

Anybody else get this problem?

Ryan

I used to have the same problem with my intake, if its the SRT intake then its because of the heat shield. Whe the car is on D and is not moving the RPM's drop real low thus causing the engine to shake and the fluttering your hearing is the intake shaft bouncing off the heat shield. Try moving the air filter around see if that helps any, that should solve your problem
